Career/Personal Development

- Business Object Learning and Development (BOLD): develop your talent through instructor-led global programs, e-learning activities, Web seminars, a learning exchange library, and strategic consulting for tailored team activities.

Employee Events
We sponsor employee events and activities to help our employees recharge their batteries and grow closer as a team. In addition to events such as monthly get-togethers, summer picnics and holiday parties, there are team-building activities such as Dragon Boat races and local treasure hunts, and a variety of sports teams and common interest groups you can join. We also make sure to celebrate our wins and accomplishments - for example, Business Objects offices around the world recently celebrated our 15th anniversary, and also toasted the occasion of hitting $1 billion in revenue.
Community Involvement
We encourage all our employees to live our corporate values of leadership and passion by helping strengthen our communities through volunteerism. Whether you choose to contribute your time to a cause close to your heart or join forces with other colleagues, we offer each employee up to eight business hours to volunteer to local community efforts each year. Our annual Season of Hope program involves employees from around the world who give their time and money for hunger relief. Every employee contribution was matched by Business Objects, and in 2006 we raised over $300,000.
